Future Climate website launches at COP18

The latest project by the Mayden Foundation, a website collating national energy plans required to tackle catastrophic climate change, was launched at the UN International Climate Change Conference in Doha, Qatar (COP18) earlier this week. Ten plans produced by national engineering institutes are already available on the website and so far 23 countries have agreed to submit their data. Speakers from seven countries came together at the launch, which was sponsored by Shell UK, together with representatives the UK Department of Energy & Climate Change and the British Council.
